Ronnie always have stepped up under pressure in his career. He has got bottle no doubt as JOHN PARRAT also mentions in the start as he finds a gear. But i feel he wasnt that serious or didnt want it that much from within which is why he couldnt win this match. I believe he has missed a number of WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS cause he wasnt just up for it, or just didnt want it that much as the other player or his opponent here. people say poncey Hendry declined from the early 2000s, but I think that is false. It's just that at the beginning of the 2000s, a new generation of extremely talented players emerged, not to mention the fact that Ronnie continued to progress enormously from the years 2002-2003 and after. It wasn't Hendry who declined, it was just the adversity that was too much for him. And let's face it, in the years of Hendry's reign, there was no great adversity facing him. If there were today's players back in Hendry's heyday, he would have won far fewer titles.Hendry is no Ronnie a far better player and hendry will be the first to say it!
