+Nto5GB obviously you can not read, I never say that they are human, so my surprise to find that these monkeys are smarter than some humans who write here, as is your case, when you have nothing to say, all that comes out of your mouth are insults. You will consider you an intelligent human, but to me the only thing that shows me is that, despite these monkeys not humans are smarter than some humans who claim to be so, as is the case. I think whoever comes as human monkeys are you, as it bother you so much see it as a pet, but the monkeys are animals, they are not good pets because, as adults, are smart enough to not want to be enslaved by any human being . I think you read my comment wrong. I was agreeing with you, not trying to argue...I was asking if you really thought the people that make nasty comments are really human. I'm doing the same thing you are. I want a pet monkey and have been trying to find everything I can out beforehand. I think pet monkeys are far better off than they are in laboratories being tortured. The Macaque monkeys seem to be the monkey of choice when it comes to testing. It's horrible. Are you looking at females, males? What are you hoping to find?

Sorry for the delay in replying, been busy. I am not looking for a certain sex when it comes to a monkey. I want to have a mate for my monkey. It makes their life better. (I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, & 2 birds.) I will consider the intelligence, companionship, adult size, how likely it is to transmit diseases to humans, and the characteristics and needs of the monkey. For myself, I would like to get a capuchin monkey. I will not look to buy for another 6 months, at least.
