i have some 19" 3pc forged wheels with reverse lip im looking to rebuild, is it possible to change to a step lip ? will step lip add 1" to the wheels so 19 becomes 20 " ? does it require a new barrel and lip as well ? how do you change the offset of a 3pc wheel when rebuilding ?

So to use step lips on your 19", like you say, they will need to be stepped up to 20" with a new lip and barrel. Offset is determined by the size of lip / barrel you use. Best way about it is to mount a centre on the hub of the car and measure outwards / inwards for the size pieces you would require.
