those are good spacers, and what does it do? do it help oxygen sensor last longer? we are assuming, it helps passed smog, because it provides good oxygen reading. meaning the car will run 14.7 air-fuel ratio

It defeats the check engine light (CEL) from removal or cats / too free of flowing cats. That also means you can pass smog if that’s tested in your area. Of course if they do visual testing then you’ll probably fail because now you don’t have cats and are actively defeating them with a device. But It tricks the o2 sensor to reading the air being cleaner than it really is, that’s why there’s a mini catalytic converter inside some spacers, specifically ones used when you have a sensitive car aka most newer vehicles. Otherwise the o2 spacer just creates a gap to trick the o2 sensor.

Hello sir, please, can I use these spaces on my car, LEXUS IS250 which is a 2gr engine, I'm getting cat low deficiency bank 1 & 2. Please can I use this spacers and which o2 sensor should I put the spacer on? Will it stop the code if I put the spacer in the bank 3 and 4? My car comes with 4 o2 sensors. The O2 close to the engine is 1&2 and that is where I'm getting the code.

nope.. put them on the one that controls the fuel trim and you'll make it run rich.. bad idea.. down from the cats is where you need them but replacing a bad sensor where you need it is probably the best best.

How much are these? Looking for two, one to use and a back up to have on hand. For a Mk7.5 GTI with 200 cell high flow catted downpipe, stage 1 Cobb OTS. Post green update AP with nazi EPA regulations, tune won’t defeat O2 cel on high flow/catless downpipes anymore. There’s now a huge market for this item thanks to imposing government regulations.

I'm not 100% sure for your car, but for my car it screws onto the s pipe... so the one closer to the ground

Probably the second one further from engine. Usually primary O2s are before the catalytic converters in your headers and the secondary O2s are after those cats and will be the ones detecting the efficiency of your headers catalytic converter.

my only complaint about these is that the cap that holds the mini cat came loose and blew inside the exhaust system

@@gazzuzz6383 its cool, my third catalytic converter caught the caps and mini cats so put on some high temperature loctite on the threads and screw the caps back on.
