O2 did not even bother to reply to my letter regarding court action and the preaction protocol.
I will starting a County Court claim in the next few days...
So, as expected, O2 have refused to repair my Z Flip 3 phone with the classic screen splitting issue that thousands are suffering from.
The reason? Because there is a mark on the screen!
They have also told me that not only are they refusing to repair the phone under warranty but my entire warranty for the phone has been voided.
This has to be one of the biggest scams I have ever heard of and O2 and Samsung should be ashamed of themselves.
O2 give a two year warranty. It appears that this is worthless as a scratch on the phone or a mark on the screen will be used as an excuse to void your warranty.
Just to clarify, the phone works perfectly, the screen works perfectly. But I don't want the splits in the screen to suddenly cause the phone to fail or the screen to fail.
I will continue with this through the Count Court and will update you when there is any news.
I would be very interested to hear from anyone with similar issues.
