I am a die-hard Rahman fan. There has never been and never will be a musician like him in this world. However, Rahman saab's recent songs lack the same sound quality, freshness, and unique feeling that could be experienced in his songs from the '90s and 2000s. I am not talking about his music or compositions, those are, as always, great but the sound quality feels different now. I'm not sure of the exact reason, but I read somewhere that he had a music arranger who passed away a few years ago, and that might have been a key factor in that distinctive sound quality. Apologies in advance, but that's what I felt.

ARR is god's gift.. In ARR itself there are 2 ARR, one is ARR in 90's and ARR after 2000. Current ARR himself not able to create the level of music he created in 90's. O2 team pls. Ask this question to ARR and other artists? Why can't 90's ARR unable to match now ?

This movie was hyped big time back then. I remember trying to see this in Chennai for 2nd show and it was sold out. So me and friends walked to nearby theater and instead saw Kaho na Pyaar hai which was running for almost 6 weeks back then. I saw Pukar later and music is very good. But I did not like the movie that much. Kaho Na Pyaar hai was great.
