Pretty much the opposite of The Long Dark. It may be a little slow by most people's standards, but it's a very stressful game. You always wonder if you'll run out of supplies or if the wolves will get you every time you step outside. I personally love it!

This game is extremely beautiful and really pretty, it's supposed to be a survival game, but it obviously feels extremely peaceful as of right now though (some could even say that's it's almost like Minecraft on the Easy difficulty mode).

Woah this reminds me a LOT of Firewatch. The way you look up at the sky and blink and then your view comes back down in the opener, the day counter in the middle of a black screen, the relaxing soundtrack and the art itself is all very reminiscent

Ok i have been playing The Long Dark for quite a few years but this is really what i'm Looking for in an Exploration- Survival game. Because even though The Long Dark is a good and challenging game there are times i just want to take a walk and look and not worry about wolves,bears,moose, falling in water,starvation,cold, Blizzards,broken bones,getting lost. It’s calming and quiet but lonely, if I had to add something I would add maybe a fire to add a warm feeling and a pet/companion, maybe a dog that follows you or a cat that curls up on a couch or your bed

Imagine easy and normal being very relaxing and so nice to play, but hard mode is kinda different. The daytime is just like normal and easy, but nighttime is a nightmare. It is like the forest, but you see people hiding behind trees and running when you spot them. Bears will attack you when you're not expecting it. You will get hunted down by both wildlife and monsters. Some trees will attack you when youn try to cut them down. You will be scared to go out during night. Not because you're scared of losing stuff, but litterally scared because it is so creepy. It's just an idea, but it would be very interesting to see it ingame. Maybe it could even be a "hidden gamemode", that would unlock when you find something in a deep dark cave or after an achievement.

Standard responses, which I expected. I buy Apple because (a) I have a lot of Apple products and they all work well together, (b) I like the way they work, and (c) I used to be PC all the way until they borked Windows to the point I hate, hate, hate to use it. If I did buy a PC, I’d either use an old version of Windows (which probably wouldn’t run most of today’s stuff) or use Linux on it (which also wouldn’t run a lot of today’s stuff). So buying a PC would be completely pointless for me since 99% of what I want is available on at least one other platform that I have. Yeah, it sucks when a game like this comes out that I can’t play. But is it worth it to spend a fortune on a PC I’ll rarely ever use just for the rare game that isn’t available on any other platform? No. Also, I went Mac several years ago for work purposes, and after that kind of investment, I stuck with it. It still runs the vast majority of the games I play at top frame rate after several years, which is more than I can say when I had PCs. I would buy a PC with high-end specs and 5 years later it wouldn’t run SH1T. This Mac has been running smoothly for 6+ years, almost like brand new.

I've only played World of Warcraft since 2004... Here it is 2020 and upon seeing this game.. I MIGHT actually venture to play another game! This one certainly has peaked my interest. It looks very peaceful and i'm definitely all about that. Also happens that I love trees so this game looks to be right up my alley. This was a joy to watch, thanks for sharing!

Gorgeous game. Loved it. Already expanded the cabin completely and made all 2 backpacks and outfits. All decorated and placed every plant and decoration on all available shelves and windowsills. This took about 8-10 hours over 3 days. I can see myself popping in every now and then just to wander around but essentially after you've done all the above there isn't anything else to do. You could fish I guess. The game is as serene and calming as you could imagine a game to be...except for bears. Day night cycle is too short I think, seems to rotate every 15 minutes or so. Would like an hour of day time just to enjoy it. 5 out of 5 stars at least for a pre Alpha.
