You wanna build the best bone farm. Build two platforms with a ramp between them, make arrow storage and fill a couple up. build a big square with the birthday traps going around it with 5-6 bonfires inside. Light the fires take your artifact and stick it in the top of the platform and wait. The ones that get past the traps burn themselves up in the fires, works like a charm, Poison arrows for the armsies

Hey Probossa und Kev Hier noch einige Tipps für the Forest. Was ihr Craften könnt: Steinschleuder (1 Stick, 1cloth, 1 klebeband) Feuerpfeil (5 Pfeile, 1 cloth, 1booze ) Ihr könnt auch Giftwaffen/pfeile machen: (Waffe/5 pfeile + Mit dem Beerensack gesammelte giftige Kräuter und Pilze) Beerensack (2 Hasenfelle) Reparier Hammer ( 2 sticks, 1 stein, 2 cloths, 10 tree sap) Macht euch doch unterwegs zur Flaregun im Cockpit, wenn ihr von eurer Basis aus beim grossen See am linken Ufer läuft, findet ihr sicher auch die Höhle mit dem Katana und der Taschenlampe(kleiner Tipp, geht bei der ersten Verzweigung links, dann seit ihr sofort da und trefft auf keine Mutanten) Wenn ihr die Grossen «Monster» Cowman usw. häutet, könnt ihr das als Rüstung benutzen. Macht doch eine Zib-line übers Sinkhole 😊

I've made similar set-ups just to have them destroyed by cowman charges.. after a few groups of mutants come through you'd be lucky to have half of thet raps still standing.. LONG LIVE THE RUNNING POTATO!

The animal trap kills mutants, is one that is made with 3 trunks and sticks, if you put them around you will help a lot, I usually make a triangle ... With mutants I mean the big ones, also kills canibals.

Been thinking: for the bone farm, get the second floor and set up some catapults to launch skulls at the mutants. Unless you're gonna be using a lot of skulls for decoration, they could serve as good ammo to fight off virginia and armsy. NOT worth risking cowman to crash through everything.

Nice mate, artifact works well ,, Fires attract them also.but u kno , my bone yard has 67 deadfalls 8 Hb traps , I have my back to a cliff by the yachet, 6 baskets of bones , ,Also have a base up on the NW side also. Tip. I shot a flaming arrow at a deer,,, running fireball,, to funny ,,,, but it wasn't cooked when i caught it.

If you poison the arrows, and shoot, cannibals will die after some time, it's helpful if there's so many of them

Yo, the best light for the dark is the scuba light. I figured out you can keep it on if right when you jump out of water you access your inventory before the scuba light goes off.. your light will stay on in the ps4 version

So i was watching MeLikeBigBoom and they were doing a VR version of the forest. One thing that caught my attention was they took the advanced axe and some cloth, and it created a torch out of the axe? I'd never seen that before.

jeez, i had the mutant trio come right up to my base with like 6 cannibal backup, which was rough, but i managed to do it with the crafted bow, and a mix of normal and poison arrows… it was on normal tho but i barely got damaged there

Do you think it would be possible to put down a standing fire right inside the trap? That way, when the trap goes off and leaves the cannibal hanging, the fire would start burning them in place. Then it would truly become a bone farm.

At some point, I want to finish the castle I built around the large tree on the peninsula, then trap-out the only land path leading to castle. It will mostly consist of birthday traps, with some explosive tripwires thrown in. I mostly want to see how long I survive. I suspect the Worms and the post-game mutants will be my biggest threat to keeping up sustained carnage.
