Hey Broadbent, if the enemies climb over the uncut wall sections, could you leave a section of say 4-5 "basic" logs to bait them into leaping over the wall at a specific spot right into some traps?

On a tricks and tips video I saw that the backpack near the top middle of the inventory let's you have quick access for items you need quickly. Would recommend that for the axe

Instead of opening inventory to equip a weapon or axe, click on backpack to the right of black case and add items(only 2 weapon items can be equipped to backpack at a time) hold inventory button to quick access backpack after to get to items instead of opening your inventory. A really good defence is using half logs for walls, and putting spikes in front. Saves on wood in a massive way, and you can sharpen the walls, too, and reinforce the spikes, as well as be able to see

Not sure if you know this but you can hover over your backpack and hit add items and the. You can press B or another binding to pull your backpack out mid game instead of pulling out the whole inventory. Good when in combat

You CAN send Kelvin to get fish. But I was near a large pond/lake. Also, hold the inventory key to bring out your backpack for quick item selection. You assign the items to your backpack in the laid out inventory.

Hey Broadbent, loving the series! Something I found last night - If you right click on your backpack when you have your inventory open you can attach your favourite items to the outside of your backpack. Then if you hold down the inventory button you just hold out your backpack and quick select what you want, rather than unfolding the whole pack - super handy for swapping weapons or grabbing meds/energy drink. Also allows you to eat food/drink etc while still running.

Hey, not sure if it's been mentioned but in your inventory near the upper centre, there's a backpack. You can assign quick select tools and items here so you don't need to open your inventory everytime you want to swap tools. You can use quick access by holding down your inventory button then clicking on the tool you've assigned :)

Hello Broadbent, I wanted to let you know that the sled allows you to get down mountains really fast with out taking any damage of any sort. I don’t know if the canibals can still hit you tho. You can also mix your back pack with objects to get an easier acces to your stuff by maintaining your inventory key, I hope you will see this comment. Good luck!😊

Nice video my dude! little tip: The backpack you have in your Inventory, you can click it and then add items onto the backpack. You can then quick access the backpack by holding down "I" on your keyboard. This way you dont have to go into your inventory and click your axe and everything everytime you need something.

you can stab sticks into the ground, hit them with your axe to turn them into defensive spikes, then reinforce them with 3 rocks around the base of the stick.

Something that may help you with the "quick swapping" of gear;.. if you press and hold your inventory key (default 'i'), it will bring out your BACKPACK, which you can assign certain items to quickly swap. You can load your backpack within your inventory screen by right-clicking to center, and then select the items you want on it.

Hey dude, I've seen you going to your (Main) inventory and select the axe, if you hold the key you selected to open your inventory it will open a small bag that's used as a quick inventory, it's so much faster then having to dig through your large bag 🙃

A couple of tips if you dont know but if you pull out your note book you go into a ice skating stat which lets you fall off cliffs without fall damage or just run down a hill super fast lmao 2nd you can put a gps tracker on Virginia and she will show upon your gps :) loving the videos suoer fun to watch i wasnt expecting that worm to attack lmao

you can use sticks as your defense as a spiked barricade but be warned it can harm allies and you, reinforce the barricade by using rocks, not pebbles. so placing stick down and smacking with your axe depending direction create the perfect defense in line, so careful when or where your placing them at.

8:50, you don't take damage AT ALL as long as you're IN the sleigh you can jump from the top of a mountain directly to the ground and still not take damage, and even go straight into trees and be unscathed. BTW one of the videos you should try it (jumping from the highest place on the map)

You can have Kelvin gather fish use the get command select fish and drop here. However this only works near running fresh water streams not all have fish so test run and see if he enters animation to gather. if you select drop here on a rock near stream fish will be easily seen sometimes if on bank they drop below ground level can still get them just not see them. He will also gather berries if you want but I dont see why you would atm.

You can chop the tops off the logs for the wall to make spiked walls

You should try out the stick fences. they are better than the log walls because the red doods just knock those ones over easily. Take a stick, put it in the ground, reinforce it with rocks and chop it with an axe to make spikes. Most enemies hurt themselves badly with it.

is everybody who uploads videos about this game stupid???? I have analysed this game fully. Thisis what i know so far POINT 1: Enemys start to show up more and more and stronger enemies start to show up the more days go by. POINT 2: Items respawn after every time you log out and load back in a save. That way you can actually max out all items, just find a place that has most items and start saving , log out and load in, loot, save and again log out and load back in repeat . You can have infinite ammo that way , so you can just use your wepons vs the monsters.

@broadbent you should equip certain items to your backpack to make it easier to get to some of your more used gear like the modern axe or bow so when enemies are near by you don't have to open your pack
