Oak Gall Wasp Did This Perhaps | Oak Bonsai

Good to see you Bill, how are the bonsai doing? It would be great to see an update when you get time. Not sure what this is but I've only seen the gall fully formed on an oak and it's normally on a branch or at the end of a branch. I've never seen it on the trunk like your tree.

Thanks! Yeah, I need to do some update videos. I've been busy with other back garden projects, including building a fence and a retaining wall. I will take some of the images and make a video about all that at some point, but wasn't sure if I should put them on this channel to be honest. With regards to the odd growth on the oak - I'm stumped!

You know, that makes sense. It certainly looks like a green fungi of sorts. I've searched and can't find anything online that can give me a proper answer. Thanks for the comment.
