I bought a used a Sawyer about two times before I switched to a Grayl purifier. Filling up the bag was too slow for me. I also like that the Grayl is a purifier, not just a filter.

Seems like everyone but me has switched to the Sawyer filter system. I still use an old-fashioned Katadyn pump. But this year I will store that away (or maybe sell it) and buy a Sawyer filter setup.

Hey James, Now a days I am using the Katadyn Befree water filter. I am pretty happy with it. I bought the 2L hydrapak bags to go with it. I have had some problems with the Sawyer clogging up after extending non use from sediment build up from tap water. Use distilled water to clean it out before storing away your water filter.
