I wished I saw this with my dad, he was taking care of his mom during her last days, but with what he told me, he watched the game at her house, and we've known our grandma to not be interested in football in the slightest, even when the Seahawks won their Super Bowl, but she watched the game with my dad and she experienced his joy when he saw us win the Super Bowl. This was the greatest moment of my life. After celebrating in town all night, I came home and just bawled my eyes out. All the bad memories from my years of being a diehard... Ronde Barber running down the sideline breaking everyone's heart in the last game at the Vet, Ricky Manning picking off McNabb 3 times the next year, McNabb throwing 3 more picks in the Super Bowl, the defense blowing it against Arizona in 2008... All those bad memories that haunted me, once that final Brady Hail Mary bounced off the turf, no longer haunted me anymore. Pure joy. A moment that made all those previous heartbreaks worth it. Me too! I was 10 in 1980, 34 in 2004, and 48 when we finally did it! Both my mother & father are gone and they passed their love of the Eagles to me. My brother got a Eagles jersey, helmet and padding for Christmas in 1975. I fell in love with the Iggles right then and there. It was also my Dad's last Christmas with us. He died August 1976. But this meant SO MUCH to the city, to the fans, to everyone who waited through YEARS of heartbreak. You know Kraft is working out some backroom deal so he won't have to be tested. As long as Zimmer doesn't do what Buddy Ryan did here and ruin the offense trying to perfect the defense, you should be in the hunt for years.

Wonderful yet again dude! This is so much more of an emotional win for me. I've seen my red sox win the World Series 3 times and Chelsea win the Champions league. But...this one is way different. I've been a fan of the Eagles longer than any other team. I remember watching football when i was 5 years old. I remember how bad the Eagles were. I treated the Eagles were my church lol. I didn't care off all the taunting that they were terrible at the time i still loved them. Then I learned about the Super Bowl. and i asked my Father (A Redskins fan) how many Super Bowls the Eagles have won. I remember his exact response "They've been to the Super Bowl but they've never won it". That hit me in the gut. My team has NEVER won a Championship (of course later I found out they did before the Super Bowl Existed) but still. Being an Eagles fan was tough. Watching my team win games and getting butt hurt comments like "Well whatever, The Eagles have never won a super bowl so i don't care" from the opposition. I watched this whole game trying to keep ready for the worst in case we lost. (having watched Super Bowl XXXIX when i was 13). I didn't lose my composure until the fumble. It seemed very real at that point. I can't say exactly what made me get so delirious but after that i couldn't contain myself. I knew the Eagles were going to win. Okay i didn't actually know i just had a feeling in my gut that said "Remember that little kid that obsessed about the Eagles and thought they were the greatest thing on the planet? This is what he saw". When that ball dropped in the endzone i couldn't contain myself. I tried to film my reaction but i screamed and just turned off the camera. When i finally got back to my feet i went outside my quiet neighborhood and yelled into the night "PHILADELPHIA EAGLESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!" This is the best I've ever felt as a sports fan for any team. I wanted the Eagles to win a super bowl more than anything when i was a kid and now that it happened i feel like I never have to get upset about a game again.
