Emma's Arrival

Emma is here! After flying in style courtesy of FedEx from Zoo Miami, OZ animal care and vet staff escorted this 5-year-old jaguar from Oakland Airport to Oakland Zoo, where she jumped right into the jaguar night house and started to explore her new space.
We will let Emma get settled, and then, based on behavior, formulate a plan to introduce Emma to Lucha. We hope there is a love connection between the two, but this introduction will be a slow and careful process, so please be patient 🙂.
In the meantime, welcome Emma, and thank you again FedEx for flying this sweet girl from coast to coast!
