Excellent review. I have the same lenses and I am a trail runner. I have the Radar Ev Advancer with e vented lenses and a bridge that pushes the glasses out from face for more venting. Love them but these jawbreakers look great. Didn’t realize they are also vented. Accurate description of lens performance.

on the soft microfiber bag the bit you said was a hand hold is actually the top of the second compartment designed to hold a second lens! I just got some of these but with the prizm road lens and the low light lens and so far I am very impressed! thanks for the good review.

I imagine the weather there is pretty much the same as here in Scotland, although l think you get more sun. 😎 They are a great addition for those duller days. I've used transition's lenses for years, usually just use the old prescription for riding. They don't get near as dark as regular sunglasses but if you're in the trees its actually better. When I lived out west and used to ride in the desert all the time dark shades were mandatory. I'm going to get something new this spring with their extra active lenses that do darken more, start off with slight tint but will also darken in the car. Definitely another pair of OAKS though. They just stay on really well. thanks for the review.

The semi Rad Dad they are awesome, really comfy and surprisingly rugged. A tad expensive though. Thats the only downside.

Thanks for the video. May I ask about wind protection? I'm mostly road biking and now have to wear contact lenses....so I'm on the lookout for shades which do not allow wind inside - thus drying out my contacts... Cheers!

Hi David, l wear these when Down Hilling so l’m also keen on keeping the wind out. As l say in the video, l really can’t fault these glasses. I’ve never had any wind issues and whilst pedaling they stay super clear, only fogging once stopped, then clearing again. Due to the lens coverage, l don’t think you would find any problems with the wind getting in. If you don’t want to risk the money, they do sell copys on ebay, you could try for a ride and check the wind, then get the real ones if happy. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Hi Shane. No, had too buy them seperate. The glasses came with the Prizm lens and l bought the Photo seperate. About £40 if l remember. Hope that helps.

Thats a hard one mate. I wear the prizm most off the time so l would say them, they make everything look great but on the cloudy dark days they are a bit dark, hence the reason for the two pairs. If l defo had too choose one, l would go Prizm. 🤙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@@pinstripebanditt l think the prizm lenses would be too dark for night time, l use the Photo’s for the darker days. I can’t say how good they would be at night time though, l’ve never used them in the dark. I think they may be a bit dark for that also, you can get just clear lenses for them that don’t change colour, they would probably be best for night rides. Hope that helps.

They do fog up once you stop, but when you start pedalling again the clear almost instantly. Never a problem on the trails.

My problem with most of my glasses is that I tear up, especially when I'm going fast. What is your experience with this lens? I'm a little bit worried that those fog vents will make me tear up.

Teufel Hunden l have had zero problems with that. The vents are far enough away from the eyes so l don’t think thats a problem. The vents really only work after you’ve stopped riding. After a hard section they fog up when you stop. But once you start riding again the clear straight away. As l say l wear these eveytime l ride. I love them. Hope that helps.
