I just purchased the Line Miner XM with the Torch Iridium Snow Prizm lens. To my surprise, the color rendering through the lens is not uniform across the vertical axis. Looking through the central part of the lens, there is a pink/orange hue, which is correct and expected, as the lens has got a pink/orange base color. Looking through the top part of the lens, or the bottom part (just tilting your head up and down and staring at the same spot), the hue is more blueish and darker. After one day of skiing, the constant changing in color rendering gave me a nice headache. Not to mention darker means fewer details as well. I contacted Oakley directly and they confirmed all of it as "normal" for cylindrical lenses as they do not curve like spheric lenses on the vertical axis. I am very disappointed as I never had this issue with other cylindrical lenses from other manufacturers, even on much cheaper goggles. I am going to try to return the goggles, let's see how it goes. It would have been nice if this limitation with the cylindrical lenses was mentioned instead of just "you do not have any hiccups with the optics". Cheers ;)

Hello Connor! The best all mountain lenses are PRIZM Jade, PRIZM Sapphire, and PRIZM Torch. All of these function very similarly for a variety of conditions. The main difference between them is aesthetics. Hope this helps!

Rob, how do these goggles fit on your nose? It seems there's not much left in stores to try on and what I did try on tended to put pressure on my nose a bit. Even the Flight Decks. Then I tried the I/O Mags and it was a world of difference. The Anon M4's weren't bad either. Also, which Smith I/O are the same size as the mag? And what other goggles can you recommend for someone with a high nose bridge?

Hello! We would not recommend getting a goggle that puts any kind of undue pressure on your nose. If it does this when you try it on it will only get worse after a few hours. It sounds like the I/O Mag or Anon M4 would be much better for you. The IO Mag is closest in sizing to the standard IO. All goggles will fit slightly different around the nosebridge so it is best to try them on in person if you have a chance to. Thanks for reaching out!

Hi Kam! Go with HI pink if you want a the lightest tint available. If you have light-sensitive eyes but still want a lens that will allows a lot of light through, then PRIZM Rose is your lens. It is a bit darker than HI Pink. Hope this helps!

Hi there! The Line Miner is compatible with most all snow helmets on the market. We cannot say for certain but there is a very good probability that it will fit just fine since the goggle is designed to fit underneath the brim of a helmet.

Hi! What do you think which googles has bigger FOV Fligh Deck or Line Miner? I have Flight Deck XM and Normal Flight Deck, and I reason to change Flight Deck Sapphire XM to Torch Line Miner. Hi there! The Flight Deck will have a wider FOV than the Line Miner because of the shape of the lens. If PRIZM Sapphire is a bit too dark you may want to check out PRIZM Rose too. Sapphire, Jade, and Torch are all very similar in my opinion. @@sportrxeyewear I have Prism Rose and High Yellow for the Flight Deck. The Rose is the best the most situation, but in the cloudy, darker weather is dark. I think the best combo are : Torch for Sun, and High Pink for Cloudy, Darker weather, High Yellow or Crystal Clear lens for Night

Good question! Not too sure as that particular combination has yet to be tested, although goggle manufactuers have come pretty far with their designs in terms of how they work with most helmet types.
