I wear a medium Liv helmet and tried both frame sizes - the Sutro S fits my head way better! Feels like a perfect frame size and definitely doesn’t feel too tight with the arms at the sides of my head

You used different models and different shots to illustrate the size difference so it was nearly impossible to tell. Show a side by side picture of the same person wearing the glasses. How do they fit "normal" to large faces? I wear a large hat for example. Would they be tight? or flexible enough to still be comfortable? I like the Sutro but having the shield a little smaller would be ascetically pleasing if they still fit most people.

They may be a little tight on your face if you wear a large hat. However, you can always check out the Sutro Lite. We will have review videos out about it very soon and only have one colorway in stock for now. @SportRx I bought it 1 month ago the Oakley Sutro Custom and is Bigger than i need it. Now I want to buy another smaller sunglasses with metallic frame and with Polarized Lens. I had the Oakley Probation Polarized and was my Favorite Sunglasses until today. I want to buy it again. I cant find any other model like the Probation.

The Sutro S is definitely for smaller heads or narrow faces. Tried them on and they looked too small on me since I'm more medium/large head. Had to return them and got the regular Sutro. Great glasses but not for everyone due to the size.

Yes, the 'S' in 'Sutro S' stands for small. It is the smaller version of the Sutro.

What is your head circumference if you don’t mind sharing? I tried the Sutro on today, thinking they would be too large on my medium head, and they surprisingly didn’t look too silly. Don’t think I have a retailer close to me that carries the S version to compare fit though.

hey, just thinking of buying the Sutro S but I'm not sure if it will stay on during downhill mtb sessions or it can fall off easily. It doesn't have the Unobtanium on the temples like the Radar EV does. Anybody and suggestion? thank you :)

I have a smaller to medium sized head. Using the normal Sutro for road riding, and its excellenet. However, even for gravel riding on bumpier terrain, its not stable enough for me. The Sutro S should be more secure, but other models with rubber insert on the sides, are probably better.

Hello Felix! Oakley typically introduces replacement parts a few months after the frames are introduced. We don't know exactly when they will be available and if a clear lens will be part of the offering but there is a good chance they should have some lenses available in 2021.

Did Oakley change the Case for the Sutro???? I got one a few days ago and the case is very different to my older jawbreaker. The new one is competely black and the emblem is not silvery anymore and also part of the whole case. Before it was attsched and bigger. I hope to get an answer cause i am not sure if this is original. But maybe the new case is more sustainable.

Hi! Oakley uses many different cases assigned to various frames. Chances are they're legitimate, but you can send a few images of it to [e-mail] and an optician will review and confirm they're authenticity.

Great question! The frame measurements between both models are listed the same so it makes me think the difference between the two would just be the nosepad size...I think it could work but cannot be positive.

Hi Andrew - Question on Prizm Technology and the Prizm color options! Understanding what Prizm Road, Prizm Golf and say even a Prizm Daily lens are best suited for, HOW is Average Joe Customer to decipher, or better yet, how is the Average Joe Customer to better understand how EACH different (non activity specific) Prizm color lens is for? Make sense? Prizm Sapphire? Prizm Jade? Prizm Black? Prizm Grey? Prizm Ruby? Are they all engineered with the same technology at the point they are non specific, and at that point.....its all about simply choosing a lens that you like aesthetically, and your desired light transmission? Is it just preference (looks, Hues and light transmission you need) or are each designed and engineered with something more in mind. The Prizm Technology itself is great, just curious about the Prizm lenses that are NOT Marketed with a specific performance (we all understand Prizm Shallow Water / Prizm Deep Water and their best use......but what about the others? Hi Steve! Excellent question! The PRIZM Everyday lenses are split up into two categories - there are some with a grey base and others with a bronze base. The grey base lenses tend to be a bit darker with just a little less contrast and the bronze base lenses increase contrast a tad more. We recommend considering visible light transmission when choosing but as you mentioned, your desired color preference also comes into play. Yes, they can be worn in wet weather. There is not metal on the frame to rust but you will want to gently wipe them dry after they are wet to avoid spotting on the lens from the water droplets.

Good morning. I congratulate you for all the videos. They are very instructive. Unfortunately, because I live in Argentina, it is not possible for me to get Oakley lenses without doubts of their originality because there are many replicas and the costs are high. Therefore, and with this pandemic reality, I can only count on one person bringing me a pair of sunglasses from Spain. I practice cycling and triathlon and I want to buy Sutro with 24k lenses because I like the way they look. At the same time, I have the possibility to buy replacement lenses Prizm Jade color. The dilemma is that I always liked the Prizm Road color but Oakley in Spain does not have those replacement lenses. I am in the dilemma of buying Sutro Prizm Road + Prizm Jade replacement lenses or Sutro Prizm 24k + Prizm Jade lenses (without being able to have the cute Prizm Road). What do you recommend to choose regarding the difference between lenses? Thank you very much.
