I can't wait till my bow comes in, I was wondering how the bow is holding up for you if you shoot it often... Black Walnut is what the handle is made of and that's not a very hard wood; per the janka rating it's only about 1,000 psi which isn't even as hard as Red Oak. But only using a 35 lbs bow I'm hoping it will hold up .... also from what distance to you feel it's accurate to. Would you consider it a good short, medium, or long range bow? I'm not expecting it to be a real good long range bow I mostly shoot from only 15-20 yards, but was wondering what your experience has been with yardage compared to accuracy! @@joedaniels4646 The Oakridge Mezzo has a Black Walnut Engineering Wood riser. I would imagine that this is a laminate of sorts,so should be quite tough. I have shot this bow out to 65 yards and if l am shooting well the bow never lets me down. I hope you enjoy shooting the bow when you get it.

@londonforge Wow 65 yards!!! Thanks for answering my questions. I'm sure they do laminate the riser so that it will hold up better than just making it out of a chunk of wood. I can't wait to get! Have a blessed day, and enjoy some archery!

Is the shelf cut to center? And can you use fastflight strings on it? It looks like a really nice bow! I love the shorter bows like that since my draw length is only 27". Good luck with it & thanks for sharing. God bless ya!

My one is almost cut to centre! I believe that the bow comes with a D97 string.

@@londonforge Cool as long as it's close .... I just ordered one right handed 35lbs myself from a place call the Duch Bow Store in the Netherlands ... no one dells it here in America so I guess it will take a few weeks to get here.
