90s sounded fun. I feel bad if you grew up after the world lost its soul (2000) Yeah, I'm from 81. No smartphones and all that sh*t. I formed my own personality. I really feel sorry for this new generation. They sound, look and act all the same. Multimedia created their personality and I'm afraid they are going to suffer from personality crises and deep depression once they hit their 30s Memories and ourselves are all we have left in this fake and crazy world.. Don’t get too nostalgic. I was at the first Knebworth gig and there were loads of problems (as partly covered in the doc). Booze got confiscated at the entrance, then a massive queue and inflated prices for beer inside. Also impossible to get to the rancid loo once you were deep into the crowd. This was also before me or my mates had mobile phones, so we were constantly paranoid we’d lose each other. Also, the site was too big. I measured Noel as being as big as my little finger nail, this was halfway toward the stage. Then getting home was a shit fest.

Lots of rose tinted comments in here, some with some thinly veiled racism. I lived the 90's saw Oasis 5 times, it was cool and all but I was a teenager, generally speaking things are always better when you have no responsibilities and your priority is having fun. My dad reckons the 60's were the best decade, just depends when you were born.
@Art-is-craft4 ай бұрын
Nothing rose tinted about it. A house back then was three times earnings, average car was one third of earnings, university education was free, trade college was easy to enter and a young person that was motivated got a career. Houses today are 10 times earnings and upward mobility is a fantasy to most people.
