Noel rates him and can rely on him without any worries of any issues. Andy Bell - 20% seems to be doing his own thing Russell Pritchard - 90%. Same as Sharrock, he’s trusted by Noel and is a pro. Alan white won’t be there due to how he was treated by Noel , Bonehead was essentially kicked out of the band by Noel as well … Tony Mccaroll definitely won’t be there …. Andy Bell is touring with his band Ride and may not want to screw them over for a small UK tour with limited dates …Guigsy quit and hasn’t had contact with anyone but Bonehead so it’s pretty much a certainty…Liam doesn’t really need the Tour other than making a bit extra cash that he was drawing anyways with his sold out concerts…. People think this is a full reformation but I thinks it’s actually Noel paying for his divorce, I’d be surprised if more than a few singles are released .. kinda like the Stone Roses reunion. So that leaves Gem , Zac Starkey …. Noel likes the control he has with his new band .., I can’t see him and Liam making a full run at Oasis again .. and that may be for the best.

However, Liam Gallagher has plenty of talent in his solo band that can be included in Oasis if needed - Mike Moore (guitar)... Dan McDougall (drums)... Jay Mehler (guitar or bass)... Noel’s not going to go from playing with very capable and pro musicians for 20 odd years back to playing with guigsy and mccarroll. That’s not a chance he’s going to be willing to take in stadiums.

Same here.

True but the rough around the edges vibe from that lineup made Oasis imo. Later Oasis were better musicians but too polished for my liking.

The ONLY member shown in the trailer outside of the brothers was Bonehead....and a real sneaky pop of Guigsy @ 53 sec mark Noel leaves NOTHING to chance/accident ....just sayin'

It has to be the original band for me with Alan White on drums. He’s easily the best oasis drummer for me.
@TheMusicalElitist2 ай бұрын
Alan, Bonhead and Gem are in for sure. Andy won't be as he's busy with Ride. I think it'll be Russ for HFB.

Liam , Noel , Bonehead , Andy Bell and Zak Starkey, is my bet. Starkey drummed with Oasis and with Johnny Marr which i think makes him favourite , plus he is more of a name, I think Chris Sharrock is too close to high flying birds and Liam may want someone neutral. My wanted list would be Liam , Noel , Bonehead , Gem , Andy Bell and Alan White , as they were in Oasis the longest except for Guigsy, and I very much doubt Guigsy will be back , I dont even know if he plays bass anymore , I haven't heard his name with any bands or anything , so I just think he won't play , I've a feeling he will get an invite though to be backstage. Then I imagine Johnny Marr and or John Squire will be guest guitarists.

If it's Liam and yer granny on bongos...it's Oasis.

Aren't liam and noel going to do a press conference interview at some point in the run up to the big reunion, like stone roses did a propper reunion announcement.

The take in the UK is that it’s basically either the HFB main live line up (excluding stuff like scissors player) with Bonehead joining Or, that it’s the DOYS final Oasis line up but with Bonehead joining Then the third spin is that it’s the above with Alan White on drums instead of Chris Personally I’d go for this - big love to Alan’s drumming work
@TheMusicalElitist2 ай бұрын
The 'scissors player' is a lady called Charlotte and she left the band in 2018. My word, you're ignorant, aren't you?

Alan White missed a meeting and Liam was tired of him and made Noel fire him as Noel already wanted him gone. His drumming was to jazz and not rock He was depressed and had tendinitis

Aside from who I would like to see, I think for the cash grab it’ll be Liam & Noel and some session players. I think any previous members will command a revenue share that Liam & Noel will want to avoid.

I could see Tony and Guigsy coming back to play a couple Definitely Maybe songs at the Manchester shows. Just for nostalgia's sake. The impact of getting the original five on stage if just for one song would be incredible. I could see them doing Live Forever.

I highly doubt it.

Because at the same time as Bonehead’s value… Gem Archer is probably even more valuable. As he contributed some songwriting credits to some tracks on Albums.

Totally, Gem is awesome
@b00ts4ndc4ts2 ай бұрын
The best thing about Gem is he knows when not to play, and his dynamics on guitar is far more superior but yeah it would be nice for a three guitar line up with Bonehead there as well because I suspect that it was down to him getting the rift patched up between Noel and Liam.

@1983armourer2 ай бұрын
@@richehy6507 no disrespect to Bonehead but there’s some songs that really need Gem. I also don’t think Noel was ever massively comfortable being lead guitarist and was happy to share responsibility later on.
@richehy65072 ай бұрын
@1983armourer your right, gem can take on every oasis track with ease, while noel struggles a bit with the solos
