Tell you what I love about this performance and it stands a lot of the common misconceptions about Liam on it's head. See him give the tambourine (quite deliberately) to the girl in the front row at 0.54? She's not the most beautiful girl within his reach (I'm not being unkind) but he picked her to give his tambourine to. The look on her face and the joy it gave her is plain to see, it made her day, probably her whole year. I'm sure everyone expects the star to give something to the stunning girl, but not so in this case, she's just an ordinary girl who clearly loves the band. I have a lot of respect for what he did here, you may see it differently but I think it shows that Liam really is a man of his fans and he really means it, ALL his people right here right now.. j'know what I mean?

I remember watching this 20 yrs ago, I knew it wasn't live because Alan misses the cue on the drum, people forget that the TOTP audience were not fans just teen girls. If you are wondering how the girl who got the tambourine its because there were numerous takes for the performance & what kept on happening is that the teeny boppers just kept on invading the stage etc so after the 3rd take they were invited on, you know they are not fans because the turn to the cameras not to the band in that way but I'm sure there were some fans there
