Fantastic video Dustin! Thanks for the mention. Loved seeing the strawberries 🍓 and cream vinyl! I ordered the 2CD, still waiting for my copy. Glad you got yours on time. I’ll do a review as soon as I get it. Cheers! 🎼🎶🎵🎸🇬🇧🍻

Seems you’ve been the only one in the VC from the States mentioning them. Glad they’re having such a comeback. I’ve always enjoyed them, but never collected too much of theirs. I’ve been meaning to change that. And seems to be a good time as I feel we’re going to be riding a wave of 30th anniversary reissues. Plus if the tour goes well, maybe there’s a plan for a new album?

That’s good to hear. Part of why I think people got out of vinyl in the 90’s. They were cramming too much on as albums got longer.

Thanks for the video. Do you know what is the difference between that one and the 4 vinyl version?

Guessing the other two disc contains the bonus tracks from the CD.

Good video. I never was an Oasis fan when I was younger, but I now think that I’m starting to like the band. The vinyl looks really nice in different colors and patterns. I would like to get the original album on CD as well as this reissue, but I should wait a little and save money. I’m still trying to put together the collection for Beatles releases too. Oasis does sound like the Beatles at times and even uses Beatles-like instrumentation and themes in their music based on their influences. I don’t know much about the so-called Britpop movement of the ‘90s, but I would like to learn more about it. I have the compilation album, Time Flies: 1994-2009, which I really like. I may end up buying their other albums later on. Thanks for sharing.

I can see the comparison to the Beatles for sure. But they do sound like Oasis too for the most part. I’m really happy with this new release. To learn more on Britpop check out the Netflix series This Is Pop. The fifth episode is titled Hail Britpop and gives a decent look into it. Honestly, the whole series is really worth a watch for any music fan.

I heard they might be going into the studio for new recordings. Don't know if that means a song, two songs, or a full albums?
@BeatleDustino3 ай бұрын
That would be pretty awesome. Hope we get a new album.

Why do American's always say "Diner" when they say Digsy's Dinner? I mean, that's just not reading probably on a large nationwide scale lol
@michaelharrington753 ай бұрын
The title was misspelled on North American releases. That's why Americans always say 'Diner', and have been for 30 years.
@BeatleDustino3 ай бұрын
Pretty sure it was spelled out Diner on the hype sticker. Though I am dyslexic so it is highly possible I missed the second n.
@BeatleDustino3 ай бұрын
Interesting. Think they got the new hype sticker wrong again too.
@michaeljohn19783 ай бұрын
@@michaelharrington75 They could've changed that at some point over the last 30 years, surely? Especially with different editions
@michaelharrington753 ай бұрын
@@michaeljohn1978 They could have, but you were asking "why". In North America we've been calling it 'diner' for 30 years.

I don't get the Beatles comparisons. Oasis never sounded anything like them. I have the original CD from 1994 and all their other CDs since then. They are my favorite band but I'm not buying them again, no matter what anniversary it is. I also don't get vinyl. We didn't trade out vinyl records for cds back in the day for no reason. If people like the "warmer" sound, they should just get a decent DAC unit and stick with cd or flac files.

The sound to me is more on What’s the Story Morning Glory. Not so much their vocals, but the production. Plus they tended to dress and wear their hair in a similar manner to the Fab Four.

That sort of opinion has become embarrassingly boring this week. It screams- "Look how edgy I am". Definitely Maybe is one of best debut albums ever, and only Arctic Monkeys' and Stones Roses' debuts come close. Not even The Beatles could say that

You clearly came here to just rag on the band. If you don't like them go listen to your Taylor Swift CD's.
