This is possibly the best remix of all time?! To take a jobbing latter-day Oasis track and turn it into this piece of sonic mastery really takes some talent. I find it hard to express how much I love this !

Wowowow!! This is the most magnificent remix/cover/sonic journey I've ever heard! Just incredible! The fsol duo just blows my mind with their talent, for two and a half decades now! I think of this as a an even more epic sequel to the chemical brothers' private psychedelic reel.

I think DOYS was the third best album they’ve done, right after Definitely Maybe and WTSMG
@Sean07803 жыл бұрын
@@alanroperjr absolutely. The imagery in the lyrics and the Revolver-like musicality. I always thought that Oasis was winding up for another big time global run with DBtT and DOYS. Those two albums fit together kind of like Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory to me

Achtungworld1 Sadly Noel was making a whole album in collaboration with these dudes, but he scrapped it. A step too far out of his comfort zone it appears.
@matteoj2269 жыл бұрын
Stewart Harding Wrong. He's commented openly that he essentially fell out with them. They wanted him jamming for hours on end, repeating sections over and over in their weird fucked up, mystical way. Noel is used to being the boss in the studio and it was simply too much effort and giving up too much creative control. It's a shame. Being single minded meant he made Oasis the biggest band in the world, but sadly it means we're not going to see anything truly interesting from him any time soon.
Wow! I hear Liam's voice so beautiful & clear. This is so psychedelic yeah!

Four or five wizards send to back to London, summer 1967, with an acoustic guitar and a vinyl copy of this remix. You wait outside Abbey Road studios and catch the fabulous foursome leaving that day’s session. Persuading them that they have to hear this record (“It’s the future sound of London” you explain) you all head round to Paul’s place on Cavendish Avenue. You share a smoke and play them a few songs on the guitar - ‘Live forever’, ‘Don’t look back in anger’ and ‘Wonderwall’ (George flashes a puzzled smirk). “Lyrics could do with an upgrade” mumbles John. You suggest an acid trip to accompany the record. Paul fetches a vial hidden at the back of a kitchen cupboard (“Jane doesn’t approve” he sighs) and some Tate and Lyle sugar cubes. Waiting for the effects to creep in you help Mal and Neil move the stereo system and a bundle of cushions down to the Perspex dome at the bottom of the garden. Everyone squeezes in and sits down. As the first stars appear in the skies above St. John’s Wood the LSD kicks in and you drop the needle on the record… …22 minutes later as the last notes fade a dazed John turns to the others and nasally exclaims “Fuck me, Shirley Bassey’s new stuff is going to give us a run for our money lads”.

The amorphous androgynous might be the trippiest group ive found so far. Pink Floyd, grateful dead, mgmt, flaming lips, aphrodites child, iron butterfly, shpongle, mr bungle, Hallucinogen, united states of America/ joe byrd and the field of hippies.. these are bands ive put on the pedistal for what i consider to be top tier mind benders. This band has such a consistency with its experimentation and progressive flow like nature.
