There's a difference between arrogance and confidence. Arrogance is specifically overstating one's own worth, so if he's as good as he says he is it's not arrogance. Whether Oasis is as good as they claim is a matter of opinion; thus they can't be arrogant, they can just be arrogant in your opinion. Quite apart from semantics, their self-belief undoubtedly helps them, and they wouldn't be where they are now without it.
