In a dream I had last night, I was singing along to this song whilst listening to a lovely elderly couple sing it but couldn't talk to them for crying at "the wheels of your life have slowly fallen off". I just think it's such a beautiful, heartbreaking line. Just put this on whilst starting at work this morning (WFH due to CoVID), and now I am ugly-crying at my desk 😂😭😭

One underrated song that I used to listen to and appreciate a lot back then when it was released and popped up in my mind 2 days ago after listening a guy at karaoke that was singing Wonderwall. I just thought "they made a brilliant song years after this one and now i can´t remember it, but I was listening to it every day back then" until suddenly I remembered the tune. I like it more than their biggest hits.

Authored by Noel Gallagher, “Little By Little” (2002) is most likely a dig on his ex-wife Meg Mathews. Most critics found the acrimonious sentiment more cloying than musing, but the tune became a UK hit. Gallagher took the line “true perfection has to be imperfect” from a Buddhist saying. He stated : “I like that, because everything that’s beautiful slightly has to have an imperfection to it or else it’s just a blank canvas. NOTHING IS PERFECT, the way I see it.” Included with the single release of this song was a cover of The Who’s “My Generation” (1965)‼️ 💚🎶💛
