Tony. Such a great observation. We were on the Allure of the Seas shortly before the Black Plague destroyed the cruise industry and your comment about that type of ship being an "inward facing cruise" is spot on. We loved it but we certainly did not spend as much time enjoying the ocean like we have on other smaller ships and on Norwegian and Carnival.

When I've gone on oasis class ships i find that there is so much to do I literally forget to take photos never mind video! I agree That you have to make a point of taking in the outdoor views. That's why we book ov balconies. It's my favorite spot on the ship. See you soon!

I rarely have starbucks, unless its the only one available, I take my coffee black, without anything extra in it, Seattle's best is not bad. As far as the RCCL, That has been the biggest thing they are known for, focusing on the inside of the ship, as compared to NCL, which focuses on the ocean. RCCL is more like the Las Vegas of the sea :)

Hey T and J, I know you booked Oasis last year and since it was amplified and a few things may have changed but we’re you able to book all your entertainment from your “Cruise Planner” or did you have to book everything once on-board? I have recently booked on Oasis for 2020 but my cruise planner doesn’t offer any opportunities to pre-book shows ahead of time ( getting a message about no entertainment available at this time). In the past when travelling with NCL booking entertainment was super easy and all done online... maybe I’m just too early??

About every other day I have guest services give me a printout of the room charges. I have a hard copy and it's easier for me to dispute something when it is written out. RC had a buy one get one free photo and they tried to charge me full price for each photo. I always get up early and the guest services was never busy so if I had questions that is when I went to get my answers.

I think if you had a sea facing balcony it would be more sea oriented. Only because you wake up and the ocean is there.

I really don't care for Seattle's Best I do like Starbucks. My actual favorite is our local coffee stand. I live about 30 min from Seattle. So we have it all. If you ever get a chance you should vist the first ever Starbucks if your ever in the Seattle area.

Yes the Barista is the coffee I had. They use Seattle best coffee. There were two I found, one on royal promenade and in park cafe.
