Everything about this song/video is so effortlessly and genuinely cool. The helicopters, the drumbeat, Liam's sunglasses, everything! 😅 I remember when it first came out and straight off the bat, I thought it was epic. Goosebumps on top of goosebumps when Noel starts making that guitar talk at 7:58. Proper Hendrixesque, that is!

It was filmed on location at Beckton Gas Works in London, which has also been used as a filming location by The Smiths and Stanley Kubrick (full metal jacket) among others. The phrases "Do you know what I mean?" and "Be here now" can be seen painted in Czech on one of the surrounding buildings.

huge fan of this song, remember when i came out on single.. was the week i was at an air cadet training camp, somewhere in Yorkshire i think. Had the CD single on my diskman and listened to it non stop

Nice to see someone praising Noel's guitar abilities for once. Guitar purists really love to shit on him because he's not technically proficient and a lot of his tunes are easy to play. But he's open about that, I've often heard him say "there's 14 year olds who can play better than me", he's never claimed to be a genius guitar player. He has a great ear for a melody and has some brilliant solos that aren't complicated but are just really cool to listen to.
