This tune winds up being about 50%-70% of the way through their set. Shame these guys are no more. Would love to slap them both and tell them to get the band back together. Sadly it seems there's a real bitterness from Noel's end that's going to mean that never happens. Crying shame. These guys were just about the biggest thing in my life as a teenager and I know for a fact their music got a huge number of people through the hard times.

IMHO, Maine Rd is the best gig bc that was their homecoming and first stadium shows. They watched Man City there as kids so it doesn’t get much better. GMEX they were at the height of their powers in terms of popularity, rock star status and the overall band. Liam’s voice was still very much on point. In 2000, Familiar to Millions was honestly when u could start to hear the wear and tear on Liam’s voice. Still a great concert but things kinda steadily went downhill after that in terms of his voice. He had thyroid issues plus the cigs, alcohol, caning it too much, etc. Still an epic band! One of my favs all time.
@user-oh7iv3ij5x2 жыл бұрын

If you thought banging a microphone was bad I recommend you look at any WHO video. Keith Moon used to smash up his drum kit at the end of each concert and Pete Townshend used to smash up his guitars
@arnoldarnold49442 жыл бұрын
Once in America Keith Moon blow up his drum kit by putting a load of cherry bombs inside them, he has been told only to use a couple but he wanted to go out with a big bang, he certainly did and deafened everybody around as well as destroying his drum kit. I have seen them live many times in England and you would not believe the Mayhem although they did not do this explosion in England the destruction was so exciting for us when we were young. Pete Townshend used to slam his guitar into the stage to get the feedback as well as destroy it eventually.Ah, what an act they were and I would not have missed it for anything. RIP Keith.

What we should be focusing on is how we can make the suppression and eradication of ugly-looking people become more socially acceptable in the future, which is should be. Stuff like Beauty and the Beast teaches children from a young age to view ugly people via "inner beauty" (which does not exist), to justify the existence of such people; this is it just vile and sickening, on every conceivable level when you stop and think about it for more than five minutes. Do not treat ugly looking people well. They do not deserve it.
