Incredible vocals by Liam. It amazes me when some people say that he had no talent and made his money off Noel's back. Absolute bollocks. Extraordinary voice.
@jamesalandixon8 жыл бұрын
alexc270494 Yeah he sounded great at this time. At some point he seemed to get self conscious about singing in his natural key and started trying to singer lower and raspier, which sounded bloody awful.

Make no mistake Oasis would of been nothing without Liam's amazing, unique voice. In the early days it made them stand out so much. Yes noel wrote the tunes and they were good tunes. But Liam turned them from good to great.

Well, there's no point in having a great voice and no songs to sing... That's why now as a solo artists he clings to Oasis tunes instead of, let's say, covering his previous stuff (Beady Eye)

Many criticize Liam's current voice, but listening to this version confirms that in all the gigs he sang, he did it with his heart and sang with all his soul, he did not care about anything, he sang for the moment, he sang for Rock N' Roll.

If you ask me, The Masterplan is a fucking 10/10 album, I Dont care if It is a B side collection, has to be one of my favs albums ever, It feels almost like a Morning Glory part II, imagine if they had released that collection of songs as an actual Studio album, mate the album would be as legendary as their first two

Or they could gather all the best b sides and put them on a b side album and not only will it go to number 1 it will show people how good they are as there b sides album is the best b sides album since the smiths hatful of hollow and it's on par with definitely maybe and what's the story , what difference does it make I'm tired of people saying they should of kept them for an album, so just say they had used them all and put them as album tracks and made this fantasy album no 3 what would the b sides to listen up and acquiesce be (obviously they would be singles) we would end up in a neaver ending cycle but instead of fans saying this b side should of made the album instead of track 5, but now people are saying going nowhere on the brilliant fantasy LP no3 should be replaced by the new b side which I bet would be summit like don't go away or I hope I think I know lmfao 😅 as Noel would of still had them songs in the vault, plus and I've given this major thought as I'ma music obsessive its wat I do , notes lists the lot lol. Anyway I thought wat would I have preferred songs like the mastetplan and half the world away to be on this amazing 3rd LP or all the fun and the feeling I got (pure inside joy and excitement) Wen I saw a load of old oasis singles on the 99p old singles rack I was 16 going on 17 Wen be here now came out and I was getting into guitar music so I had all of DM and WTSMG plus all the singles so Wen I saw the supersonic single and the roll with it single 99p each it was like treasure I remember getting catatonia I am the mob and cast fine time , and everytime I went into the town as we lived bus ride away I would hope there's another oasis single until I had them all except for 1single and months went by, and one weekend I'm working for my mum and her partner on the markets in York it was a big indie town, it's lunchtime so I went straight to a independent record shop I looked through there old singles rack and they dident have anything by oasis they had shed7 singles from there 1st LP even had ocean colour scenes 1st LP and I dident even know it existed anyway the owner asked me what I was looking for and I told him I needed this 1 single to complete my oasis collection the fella closed his shop for 5 min we went round the back and he went in his car and handed me the single I needed I offered him the money and he just said it's 2nd hand use the money and I'll sell u 2 of the LP's for price of 1 of that rack I got primal scream vanishing point , oh I forgot to say the single I needed to complete my oasis collection(so far) was the excellent whatever what an amazing group of songs and what an end to my treasure hunt , I remember packing the stock up so quick so we could listen to it on way home , I wouldn't change that for anything ,. I love and loved oasis the 1st guitar band that got me out of the jungle and rave scene and rap befor I became more eclectic and told myself it's ok to like more than 1 type of music , now I'm still a music obsessive currently digging pastel, DMAs , the Sherlock's, crook district (check out shine on me) Afflecks palace , there's some good stuff out there . Stay safe everyone peace out ✌️

His voice is really pushed to the limit here. I mean it sounds amazing but there's no way he could have done it night after night without losing his voice much earlier as he did. It's a shame but on the other hand it was the right decision to drop that song from the set.

I was at this gig. My ticket says Windsor Hall on 18th Sept, but the gig was re-arranged to the larger Bournemouth International Centre on 5th Oct. I recall a lot was fuss was made as Blur were to play a low key warm-up gig more or less over the road on the original date. Paul McGuigan had left the tour citing "nervous exhaustion". Scott McLeod was bass player that night and appeared in the Wonderwall video. McGuigan was convinced to rejoin a few weeks later.
