I’m convinced this song could be the end of all self consciousness and self doubt. It makes me feel 10 foot tall like many Oasis songs. It automatically makes me believe in myself and have a “Fuck You” attitude” it puts the swagger in my step. Possibly the best band ever and even if they are not no band will ever make me feel the way that band did. Oasis is stamped on my heart and to illustrate my point millions would agree with my statement.

I would say it's because this kind of groovy was on its way out by 1994, and punk was in again, so they opted for Rock N Roll Star, Bring it On Down, Fade Away, etc. They had quite a few groovy/melancholic songs during this era that were never released.
@n1thmusic229 Жыл бұрын
@@scooopable He said B-sides not on the album. Even then you're point doesn't make much sense becasue Digsy's Dinner, Married with children? They aren't very powerful and they're the worst received tracks on the album, I doubt the members liked them too much either. The real reason is that these old demos were never released properly on purpose because they were just that. Noel wanted to focus on new stuff written in 1992-1993 as opposed to reusing Oasis' first few songs. Only 2 old demos were ever released properly. Alive which was a B-side to shakermaker and All Around the World which was written in early 1992 and was completely revamped into a huge 9 mintue ballard and put on their 3rd album. Even songs like Strange thing and Sad Song didn't make the B-sides of definitely maybe and they were written in 1993 and 1994. We saw Strange thing on the Live Demostration demo tape even and it was never seen again until the 2014 Reissue of definitely maybe. Noel really wanted to look forward with his music and not cling onto older tracks when making new albums
