Would have been another No.1 except this was a week after Lady Diana died. Candle In The Wind was at the top for months over in the UK. This song deserved to a No.1 - nice to see the Halifax ads now in 2021 with this beauty playing. Wonderful song. Man I miss REAL music. The amount of absolutely crap in the charts is unbelievable.

I cant decide the bigger injustice; that, or Wonderwall being kept off #1 by Robson & Jerome. But yeah, the last few years its had a resurgence with Liam playing it, then that ad has boosted it even more; its basically one of their iconic hits now.
