Oasis State Park is set among cottonwood trees and shifting sand dunes. An oasis on the grassy plains of New Mexico, It is a popular fishing spot with a 3-acre pond.
The fishing pond is a big draw for this park as well as the low-cost campsites. You can catch catfish and trout. An especially nice feature of the fishing pond is that it is wheelchair accessible. There is an area that you can get right up to the edge of the pond. Also, some of the picnic tables are wheel-chair accessible also.
Oasis State Park has 26 sites including 10 premium tent sites, 13 RV sites with electric and water plus 2 beautiful ADA campsites.
Oasis State Park is located near both Portales and Clovis, New Mexico.
Favorite activities at Oasis Stae Park are hiking on the trails, birdwatching, and fishing.

Shortly afterward new arrived in New Mexico they shut down the state parks because of the Corona Virus. We didn't get to stay at any other NM State Parks. If they are as nice as this one I can't wait to go back.

We love New Mexico and the beautiful sunsets. Oasis State Park looks very clean and well maintained. It's too bad they're having issues with algae in the water.

BluWave Odyssey Oasis is pretty park and well cared for. We usually carry bottle water for drinking so it worked out for us. Thanks for watching.
