I just remembered a old interview with him where he said that his vocal style was 'Just holding the note and not cutting it short'........thats where his voice fucked up. He started cutting those notes short to make it easier for himself i think. It must be hard to sing the way he did.......he made it look easy. He put everything into that Noel owes him a lot of gratitude.....and vise versa He took the 90s by the scruff f the neck!!!!

Like i said on some other video, imagine going to a football match, and you know how much youre shouting at a football game right? And how sore your throat is the next day? Imagine doing that regularly for years. THATS what fucked up his voice. Shouting instead of singing.
