@AlexFruen That's true. But I think that has a lot to do with the fact that the music business is a lot more diffuse than it was...and the current crop of stars haven't yet proven sustainability. Everyone always assumes that the new crop of pop acts will be gone in 5 years...and most are...but there are a few from every generation that are looked up to by the next. As for rock. It's much less mainstream now than 10 years ago...but that cycles...it always comes back.

one of my top drawer, secret top drawer, oasis songs! All the b sides are their best work. I prefer Noel on thr acoustic, singing the b sides.... He gave liam the songs for his voice at the time, liam couldn't sing at their peak for acoustic songs IMHO! He could rock & shout in tune! Liam's voice is gone now IMHO, Noels vocal chords have recovered massively! Liam's have been hammered! We know why! I think Noel voice wasn't ready for the main album tunes in the 90s & liam was already a front man in his own band & was ready to take his role & take over their worlds. Noel had a plan IMHO & so did liam, IMHO. They both worked flawlessly! Even the bands name. Have you heard of oasis!? I've seen them & heard them it was like an oasis but I seen & heard it! 😂😃💪😉⚡😈
