But now that I think about other you tubers I watched they don't dig everything up. You now have me trying to figure out why I'm wired this way. Anyway enjoy the bounty of resources you will collect.

kaeldor90 for the pip one that makes sense but i have a counter offer if you surround a mechanical door with tiles then break the door it creates a natural tile so you can use that to make nature reserves and parks while also destroying all you desire i hope this was informative to someone and i’m not degrading your play style (i think people should play how they like and it’s fun to see how differently people can play the same game) but if you like destruction and map clearing but also want pip nature reserves this would be something you may want to consider even if you don’t want to clear the map it’s still handy to know when you need a natural tile in a sertain spot have a nice day/night kind strangers :D and thanks for reading

That building with the three switches spawned in and caused an abyssilite break in my oil biome and I was left with a fourth of my oil biome flashing to petroleum and sour gas. It's so bad that on cycle 1700 I'm still trying to cool down the area to 50 C from 200 ish.

5:13 I think it has to do with the material the glass forge itself is made from. That is were I think the energy transfer is happening, through the glass forge. I had similar issues until I made my glass forge out of ceramic. Edit: I see you already have made it out of ceramic. Huh, beats me. lol

If I keep it in 2kg of O2 placed on insulated tiles I have no issues. Pretty sure it's the 10kg+ of steam surrounding it.

Should have put some steam tourbines. I once had a seed on oassie where salt water geyser was in direct contact with hot bottom of the map, creating thousands of kg of super heated steam for more than 400 cycles - when I uncovered this monstrosity... so I connected whole 8 steam turbines to cool 1/5 of the map, was making me power for like 300+ cycles, before cooling down to 125steam and produced an insane water amounts :) fun thing there was no oxygen steam was always on top... got lucky :)

@Hedning13905 жыл бұрын
Sporechilds are almost always in small, pure co2 chambers. I usually let in a couple of wild slicksters and they'll vacuum it for me.
@FrancisJohnYT5 жыл бұрын
How do you get the slicksters in without letting the germs out? Considering the cure is so difficult to get i'm paranoid about letting even one germ out, the side affects of it are huge, minus ten to all stats.
@Hedning13905 жыл бұрын
@@FrancisJohnYT There's lots of liquid in this biome. From any pool or puddle I dig two tiles high diagonally up or down. This way the liquid gets into a corner tile and blocks the germs from flowing out. If I can't find a way I use a pitcher pump and bottle emptier to create my own puddle where I need it, although if I need to do that then getting the slicksters to move in will be trickier too.

Minus 10 to all attributes for 18 cycles. Requires some special breed of shine bug and steel to make the cure I believe, should not be able to affect dupes in atmo suits. Ahh I Remember when I could Harvest Abyssalite {cold, some of the Best material back then} then use it as super heat barriers then later when I had researched insulation make a 2nd top layer. Playing with magma you crazy! Im afraid of super heated petrol breaching walls! And I know how to stop it! I was surprised that the magma dist pop the layer of obsidian... I mean I have seen oil move past multiple blocks several times. Also once had an infinite storage in a cesspool once. was an odd alignment kitty corner spaces. i had quickly patched in a pipe vent to dump all my flush water into a CL biome but it kept to 2 squares, several hundred then thousand KG up n up. Till the day I opened the area back up and interacted whit adjacent blocks. It pop and flooded most of the open region in seconds. A bug for sure, Piss water was one thing. but if that happened to Magma/Lava! Game over man game over! One of the manny reasons Early on a build and vacuum out a Crypt with about 2x my current dupes {still back when sickness was not Nerfed or emotions stronger xp } HOpe we can make tomb rooms like in Rimworld soon so a failed dupe treated right n lain to rest can boon or not hurt colony. Fair if one was lost completely if it hurt more too like vaporized, lost in space, fell into the fryers and was incidentally eaten. I liked the idea of Crit fails meaning death in some of these games. ahh Sims dying when trying to grill go times.

@FrancisJohnYT5 жыл бұрын
I had the geyser calc mod installed but switched off on map generation. I think my base is just higher up and closer to space due to a misaligned pod. I have not gone up much due to the sub surface ocean and all the water up there. That gives me an idea, I can dump a pretty big chunk of that ocean into that steam pit area, gets me access to space and help with my steam cloud.
