Great demo coach! I noticed you're using the Rigid driver. Have you used the Rigid three-and-a-half in air nailer? I heard it was good but I seen a review where it wasn't working well with toenailing. In your experience have you ever utilized the Ridgid Air nailer. Any good?

Thanks for watching. I just picked up the 18v Ridgid framing nailer. I will update a review when I go through a box of nails! I ordered the magazine extension to hold 2 clips and Im building a bunch of beams for a deck next week. Stay tuned

@@ConstructionCoach if you were going to choose between the 20 degree round head nailer and the 30-degree clipped head nailer, which one would you choose? I was sort of leaning towards the clipped head only because it fits more nails in the clip. Also what type of nails have you tried running through it? Does it specify a particular brand of nail? Also have you tried using it for toenail and? I seen a review where it wasn't sinking the toenails flush but that might just be the particular one that they were using for the review

I’ve got the 30-degree, if I’m at home depot I use paslode 30 degree nails. Sometimes I buy nails from a wholesaler but I find generic brands fail in the nailers sometimes. Actually my first cordless nailer came with a free box of nails that didn’t even work at all!(wasn’t ridgid). As for the toenailing I found it works great! Toenailing fails when you don’t hold the gun firmly, this gun and most guns I’ve used depend on the user firmly holding the nailer so the whole force of the nailer is hitting the nail. I hope this helps, let me know what you decide.

@@ConstructionCoach thanks coach! Exactly what I needed. I think I'm going to go for the 18-volt 30-degree clipped head

I think there is a deal going on now called tool takeover for Ridgid tools. They are giving a free battery and charger when you buy a bare tool. Are you in USA or Canada?
