Can This El Camino Be Saved? Copart Walk Around - 7/26/24

In this video, I'll show you a 1972 Chevy El Camino with some pretty expensive repairs needed. But the question is, can this classic be saved?? I'll try to give her a start and see if the ole' gal wants to get back on the road. Then I'll show you a 2013 Mazda Speed 3 with a little damage. Finally a 2017 Jaguar F-Pace with some bolt-on parts needed. This wouldn't be too extensive to fix!

The missing trim is in the truck bed of the el amino. The time clock does not work. Tail light is available as is the old school steering wheel,new or used. Hood springs available,buy new or used. Have a body shop do the rear. The car won’t go cheap.

The El Camino is a good opportunity to import into the EU. Ordinary American cars with a v8 engine fall into the luxury tax category due to the large displacement of the engine, plus a large environmental tax is paid, so the Mustang is twice as expensive to import. The El Camino is a commercial vehicle and none of that is pays, but has the same performance...

On the Jaguar F-Pace, cleaned up and repaired, it's worth $25k-$35k. If you can get it under $12k, I'd jump on it. Plenty of meat on the bone!

Doubt that the ElCamino is a true SS. The firewall has been redone. The motor is a small block, likely a 350 if it is a 72 motor. The red wire should have been for the electric choke, which was why it was hard to start and keep running.

People used to break in the little windows. They just come right open and then they get your door open and they steal your car. They need to have in box on them windows like a lot of they slide.

dont skip out on that el camino if its a true ss they are worth some money and id have the engine checked out its supposed to have a 393 at the very least if its a true ss i have an 84 elcamino ss my dad has a 70 ss get the 72 body and paint for a decent job will be about 7kish out the door but well worth it even just to keep it as a time piece
