Ever since learning to get early super missiles, I've never seen the DLC Kraid. Props to speed runners for finding everything to make life easier on us casuals. Whether it be low % strats or just having amazing movement in a tight corridor. Would like to see some AM2R just because Queen Metroid always needs a beatdown to know her place.

The problem with the logic for Oats is that he is constantly looking for ways to subvert it. But the logic WANTS you to succeed, assuming you have the necessary skill requirements for that level of difficulty. What the logic DOESN'T account for is that once someone with slightly higher the 'hard' logic skill checks is once you acquire a few key items, you can pretty much run to the end. Oats tries to do this too early nearly every seed. Sometimes it pays off, but most of the time, the people with solid movement but have less tricks in their arsenal (Nevdi) will prevail because they followed the logic far enough until it didn't matter anymore. Oats is getting hoisted on his on own petard.

Here here. I didn’t mind the change for a bit, but SM has such perfect music, nothing compares. I don’t mind if it was randomized through the tracks of the game, but different music throws me right off haha

question with the music packs...do you have to have like 1 version of metroid for each music pack (and then apply randos to it)...or can you pick and choose which music pack you would like to use (just one metroid rom)

each time you generate a randomized run using your rom it creates a new rom file with all the randomizations and customizations
