Looks yum. Mind you, overripe bananas are the best for banana bread or smoothies.

Where I come from this is a drop scone I remember making them with my mum in the 80s . Maybe where you come from its a pancake but just remember the whole world doesn't revolve around you.

Seems a bit rude, there... As people call the same thing by different names all over the world and it was not said in a corrective or rude manner, and someone from Scotland called them the same thing. Either way it appeared to bring up yummy memories for all 3 of you. How about some warm yummy banana "whatever you want to call them" and get your belly full of warm comfy feelings and feel the love for all the people who make good food to share with us ?

what brand is the cream mixing bowl Hugh uses?
@auntfanny32663 жыл бұрын
It's a long time since you asked this question, but I have a couple of bowls in the same style. It might be a potter called Barrington. The shop I bought them in no longer exists, but was from the same area as River Cottage HQ.

This can be made vegan by replacing milk with non-dairy milk. Soaked chia seeds in non-dairy milk instead of egg. Vegan butter instead of butter.

+illtellulatta03 In Australia we call them piklets. Pancakes are bigger. These are very popular in Australia for a mid morning or afternoon snack, with or without the oats and honey. We usually serve them cold, with jam (jelly) and cream, or butter and honey.
@MrsBrit18 жыл бұрын
In the UK, at least in my area, a pikelet is another name for a crumpet.

No, drop scone should be baked. This is made in a PAN. This is nothing remotely scone like.
