I teared up when Dr Murthy paid tribute to his parents. Such a good, humble person. Thank you Dr Chatterjee for bringing us podcasts with such good, kind, knowledgeable people

Esther Perel lead me here and I am grateful. Dr Murthy is so soothing to listen to and you are so passionate about everything you talk about that I found myself tearing up multiple times through this episode. Thank you for being so authentic in your podcasts. Now I'm going to binge watch all these episodes.

My goodness, what a powerful conversation that was. I was there in the playground, I was there so wanting to be chosen, I was so lonely as a child. I am lucky to have a few close friends now but I know I still hide stuff, put on my mask. Thank you, Rangan, for arranging this conversation with such an awesome man and for sharing your vulnerability. It made me cry.

This really resonated with me on a deep level. By society's expectations I'm a relatively successful guy but I've never felt happy or fulfilled. Lockdown has given me solitude time to reflect and I feel like I've had some kind of awakening and now realise how I've been sacrificing and running away from love, connection with myself and others to pursue external things. Now in my 30s I realise I'm craving a simple life serving others and real human connection more than ever so I'm determined to live differently from now on

What a poignant and honest interview. Thank you so much. I too was very shy as a child, I came from a very high achieving family, both parents have Aspergers (I've only realised this in the last 5 years) I've never felt "good enough" I live back with them. The ingredients I'd love in my life more than anything are love, connection, belonging and some close friends who I could share and talk to, plus meaningful purpose. I've never felt as lonely in my life as I have in the last year during this pandemic. It's a remote hamlet and I've pretty much been shielding due to my Dad having a compromised immune system. Touch and connection are basic and vital human needs. "As human beings we weren't designed to do everything by ourselves" A massive hello and strength to everyone out there. This is one of the best podcasts I've listened to in a long time. "Ability to give and receive love" I've cried a lot during this talk...tears of realisation that I've become quite distant from the authentic me, I feel distant from friends, just lost... Thank you.

Dear Dr Chatterjee, I love your work so much. I think it's incredibly valuable on many levels. And that's why I'm writing a public comment. You've produced more than a hundred wonderful podcasts but only a fifth of them have a woman in them. I challenge you to redress that balance. Could you get it close to 50-50, in the 2020 podcasts, by the end of the year? I have lots of suggestions of inspiring women I'd love to hear you talking to, and I'm sure other subscribers have ideas too. Thank you very much.

Thank you both ever so much for this touching conversation! All of these thoughts of courage are so empowering. People are waking up and yes, we will have a more loving and peaceful world as a result! This virus is not our enemy it is our friend insofar as we all are being stopped in our tracks and given a unique opportunity at re-evaluating just about everything in our lives if we decide to look at it from that perspective. All the best to everyone!
