A masterpiece! Although I usually cry during great endings, this time I was overwhelmed with awe. The montage of all the racers, Jordan's tear when he saw her leaving, Molly's scene at the end with her dad -- all fantastic. I will never forget this series!

They should have an OVA of what life would have been like if Jordan was able to go back to earth with Molly and show what their lives were like after the oban race. If I got that, then I would be okay with the ending . But otherwise I'm heartbroken I LOVE YOU JORDAN!!!!!!

first time i watched this is when it started on tv and a few weeks ago i had a dream so iwatched the whole show again its the best anime in the world its got great plot and i just loved the ending in a sad way it was beautiful :33 the artwork in the show is so beautiful :33 4ever OSR :D

It took 2 days to finish this series, and so worth it. When I first watched this it was all spread out, so it really didn't make any sense. Going back and watching them episode after episode made everything clear. It's a great series. I hope the fans keep coming back to it.

I can't believe it ended. I watched the whole season in four days. Well five if you count this episode on the fifth morning. Anyways, they should make another season. It's so sad. I'm happy for Eva but poor Jordan didn't get what he wanted. I wonder if Eva is ever gonna see Aika's kingdom. Long live Oban!! Long live Avatar Jordan!!

This was actually a really, really great ending. >: And I don`t think Molly chose Aikka- I`m pretty sure she realized that she loved Jordan in the end. But I feel so, so bad for Jordan. He has to spend pretty much forever without Molly....alone. The poor, poor guy, I wish Molly had realized sooner. And he did it cause he loved her. ;A;

I think it'd be cool if they made an ova going over the process of how Jordan would be trained as the avatar and him messing up because he's still human even if he's the avatar. Also it'd be cool to see Jordan laugh and have a crazy awesome adventures around the universe 'cause that single tear gets me every time and Jordan deserves to be happy. ;__;

Normally i am not very interested in series where i think the characters are poorly drawn.. but this show is so amazing, and i loved Mollys and Jordans relationship. The ending really hurt my heart, all i wanted was them to be together

But hey, when you think about it, Satis was able to travel to other planets as Avatar. Sure Jordan would probably outlive Molly and 1000 of her descendants but who says he can't visit Earth every now and then?

Jordan was a soldier to the very end... I love/hate the ending and a season 2 would ruin it. Most I would ever allow is an OVA but that's it. I don't want to ruin the bitter-sweet feeling the ending leaves me with. It's poignant. At the end Eva got her family back but in a way that was best. You don't mess with the kingdom of the dead like Satis said. Aparrently the Avatar is to also respect Divine order as they are only a galactic guardian. Hey, notice Jordan made that area of the planet look like Earth? The trees are no longer red like under Satis' rule but green with lots of grass and blue water.

well. that was a tough 25 episodes with 1 epic, emotional ending. it brought tears to my eyes, of both sadness and happiness. i do agree with Ginteru tho this is one of those animes that rarly catch my eye, and i loved every second of it, but still one thing troubles me. I cried during the whole second half of the episode, but when the ending scores started, I just lost it... I really wish there was a season 2 with a second race of Oban (a year after this one, maybe?) with Eva being the pilot again, but with Jordan as a human coming back to Earth with her. This wasn't fair for him at all. He was just a boy, he didn't deserve to become stuck in loneliness and time.

Amazing show and ending - one of my best childhood memories. One thing that I think would've made the ending better, is if Jordan refered to Eva by her real name when saying goodbye, now that would've been awesome.

in a way, they had 3 choices. 1. to make a second season, but idk what they would do 2. make the ending longer, and have aikka eeting eva again, and then seeing jorden 3. did what they did, a touching, sad ending, yet kidna happy i think it would be really awesome if they showed what happended on the other planets, that would be one way of making a second season
