Oban is basically the exact opposite to Ian Machado Gary. He's not trying to be anything he isn't. just a no BS honest and likeable guy and you just can't help but wish him success. He could definitely become a working class hero in the fight game for Wales, taking a fans around the world as McGregor and Hatton did for Ireland/England. No pressure! Good luck to him.

Brother, do you genuinely think Ian is trying to be someone he’s not? I’m actually so curious - he’s a bit cringe at times and sure, less likable than Oban, but he’s exactly who he says he is: a family man, blue-chip welterweight prospect who has as good a chance as any to be a champion one day.

Worked with Oban in a school (he was also working in Nando’s in the evening too) The kids had untold respect for him, as did the staff. To see the journey unfold like this is truly incredible Cymru Am Byth 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Ariel, I love how good you are at what you do and listening to you really helps me. Last year I lost my 21yr old son to cancer and life has been so hard for us. I don't get out much or do anything really anymore. Going to work is the only reason I get out of bed in the morning. He was called Bradley ( Bradderz) and was such a good human being who never gave up. Listening to your interviews keeps me going and I just wanted to say thank you for doing what you do. 👍🙏💙
