I was wondering though. Why did you need to be connected to WiFi to do a read write function? Thanks for the video

I am not 100% sure but it does some type of online calculation. Maybe it verifys the os is going into the proper hardware.

if you go to www.customeecm.com he had most of the gm pcm pinouts for flash harnesses. you can go to ebay and by the db25 connectors. simple diy pcm adapters

Hey yo bro. Nice video. Is the dc 706 mainly used to clone ECUs? I want a tool that can reflash an existing TCM with the proper info to make a newly used trans installed Is dc706 the right candidate for that?

yes, the DC706 is a clone tool. it does PCM/BCM/TCM

Suppose you replace a transmission (GM, FORD, BMW) but the newly installed transmission was not sold with its TCM; all you have is the bad transmission TCM in the car; however, it does not match the newly installed transmission. You want the newly installed transmission to be recognized by the vehicle and perform like the one that just got replaced. Does DC706 have the option to perform that? I am thinking NO IT CANNOT but I would like to have your input on this before i pull the trigger on it or not.
