@harlemnightsmusic I just picked up a second Juno 106. I agree, if you take off the effects and add your own you can get a lot of flexibility. It really does bass well and you're right it does always work in mixes really well. That's why every studio interview seems to have one sitting there! The strings sound good too. For synth leads, there is a lot of competition so I don't try to compete with a moog, oberheim or korg. They all seem to cost way more for vintage.

@Wedge72696 Thx.. Best without 106 chorus, just use a PWM, subtle but quick LFO and balance sub wave to that, and tweak around with the filter.. Add some gated rev... In isolation it won't sound as Moog-y but I find often in the mix the 106 somehow just fits..

Well, man, your skills in music are obvious, but i'd like to mention smth else..You've got by VERY Very far the best sounding korg esx beats on the net, there isn't another electribe that can come even close to your drums...i can tell this after watching more than a dozen of your vids...i can't figure out why this happen, but it's a fact.. It seems that you're really very good at the art of sampling, (esp. drums - percussion sounds), in the whole process, from choosing the right sample, through working & editing it, maybe spice it up a bit, IDFK.. I don't know about sampling, but i do know what i hear..and i don't think i hear an electribe, i just hear the original drum machine you mention, in every video you made..To the point that if the picture wasn't there, it would be very difficult to believe that it's an electribe.. And not to mention about your keyboard skills..Well, what can i say...? Well Done man, electronic music, (esp old school), needs people like you, IMHO..and it's not a compliment, it's the real truth..Stay well and keep on man....
