I don't know if it can be said about this specific person or not, but many people who have eating disorders do care and are genuinely not able to overcome it even with amazing help. I've worked in a children's psychiatric hospital where we treated mainly anorexia but also binge EDs. And I strongly believe many of the patients care a lot and really want to live. They have help and they do want to get better. And it's still stronger than that. For anorexia the statistics say that only around one third of those with that sickness recover. One third will not make it at all and one third lives with the illness and it never goes away. Those two thirds aren't people who don't care enough. They are people who, for many different physiological, psychological and sociological reasons, just can't do it. Even with therapy and good medical care and a loving support system. It's difficult to understand but I would never say that the reason is it for not matter enough to them.

@@mael2039 I have struggled with BED, I know the type of mindset you're talking about. It would probably help if you had context for Chantal, there is a lot about her you're missing. In addiction circles they say “the same man will use again” meaning you have to change for the outcome to- sounds like a no brainer but changing a habit, especially one that gives you money for views and dopamine from junk food… that’s a long hard road that won’t feel awesome to do for months. Homeless drunks aren’t there because it’s fun. In recovery I met a woman who had to have a foot amputated before she changed her diet and she’s still obese (just has mobility now). Sadly- some never learn and go to the grave. I think we would all like to see her villain arc have a good ending but fewer and fewer of us hold our breath for it.

When you weigh 500lbs, like I did, it can be overwhelming. I finally got fed up with just existing. I started with one habit. I educated myself on nutrition. I started to read labels, track my macros and weigh and measure everything. I stayed away from processed food. In 7 years I lost 250lbs, It takes commitment. I realized that my life was worth saving. I learned to love myself. It's sad to see someone so stuck in a destructive cycle. Until she takes personal responsibility for her health, she will never change. Food prepping is a must. I did all my food prep on the weekend. I always had what I need to eat even working 60+ hours a week.

The wanting of a support system is exactly why her and Amber have "haydurs." They don't want us to be "supportive" of their goals. They want us to be "supportive" if whatever they they feel like doing in the moment. So when someone says something as small as "hey, I thought you were trying to cut out junk food?" Suddenly they're haters and should mind their own business even though they were trying to be that support system.

I appreciate your approach to getting healthier. I started counting calories in November and adding more consistent exercise (30-40 minutes 5 or 6 days a week) and have lost 20lbs. I’ve tried before and failed every time. This time around, I told myself that for 3 months I would just focus on counting calories and trying to reduce junk and then after those 3 months of getting used to it, I’d start adding more vegetables/fresh produce and less processed food. Seeing the results I have so far is motivation to keep going and make those changes. I knew the only way I could sustain things this time around was to not go full force with a complete 180 from the get go and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made so far. Hoping to lose another 40lbs this year. Your content has been really helpful for me. Thank you for all you do!

Her cycles have been getting faster and faster. The fact that she has been driving more and more is very concerning to me, both because it enables her to indulge every craving she has and because it’s dangerous for her and everyone around her due to her uncontrolled diabetes. Very high blood sugar can cause confusion, delirium, and loss of consciousness… yet she’s still in the car literally eating fistfuls of chocolate cake. It’s terrifying. Uncontrolled diabetes is *so* hard on the body. Everything she eats is carb heavy and she either abuses her medication to “allow” her to eat more or just doesn’t take it at all. She’s always thirsty (common sign of high blood sugar); she complains of blurry vision and excessively watery eyes alongside her eyes being noticeably inflamed (very likely diabetic retinopathy that seems to be progressing rapidly); her skin has been dry (another indicator of chronic high blood sugar); she’s mostly covered but we can see the darkening skin on her knuckles (acanthosis nigricans)… it’s just frustrating and sad. I don’t know any other way to describe it.

I paid almost $30 for 2 combos at a fast food restaurant. Out of spite, the next time I wanted burgers I went to the store, got the ingredients and made some myself $30 of burgers from the store is like 3 complete meals save some money and have some burgers from home

I still haven't understood the discreet charm of burgers. Even in a fast food bistro I choose something else (fries with salad, or a wrap), and why bother making a burger at home? I grill the meat, make a salad, place on plate and add some sauce. And I ate it all comfortably and pleasantly with a knife and fork, rather than risking dislocating my jaw, getting sauce on my face, and getting my hands and clothes dirty. Burgers really are a kind of emergency food when there's absolutely nothing else.

@@carolbeltre I wrote about the construction of the food, if I may say so. Burgers are not a comfortable food to eat. Your hands are smeared with sauces, your mouth, your chin too, and you inevitably have to be afraid of getting your clothes dirty all the time. Eating it with a knife and fork is also neither good manners nor convenient. You could break it down into its components and eat them separately, but then you end up with the second option I described, fried meat with side dishes. And finally - I don't like white bread, especially white bread with meat.

Chantal thinks she's so much smaller than Amber. Because she doesn't see that she's near Amber's weight, she sees herself as a normal sized female, so when Salah said that, she felt in his (size) camp enough to laugh naturally & even fat-shamed Amber's together 😂 Another delu-lu chicken 😆

She's just doing videos to get money for her favourite foods. Videos like "I have diabetes" etc. are just something she comes up with in order to ramp up her views. She was diagnosed as a diabetic years before that video, and that's the reason she was put on Ozempic. Which she stopped injecting because Ozempic wouldn't let her eat like she wanted. She said this herself! Another thing most viewers might not spot in her videos is the fact that she's often imitating Hungry Fat Chick. Which is proof enough that she wants to cater to the feeder community. She sometimes even applies her lipstick in a way to make her mouth look like HFC's while eating. All the talk about wanting to change her habits and lifestyle is BS. Chantal doesn't want to change. She wants to make money to eat whatever she wants, whenever she wants. I've been watching her videos since she started. I think I know most of her tricks by now.

this is foodie’s 216th health arc/cycle on the 7 years of her channel. just like she thought she’d never become diabetic, she believes she is special and won’t suffer the consequences other non-complaint diabetics do. she’s in deep denial and running out of time. today she went to a zoom OA meeting, allegedly, but she will give in to her first “craving.” inevitably. lost cause, just like alr

the key to stopping polish from chipping is by adding clear top coats (and making sure the edges of your nails are covered!) that way moisture won't get in and degrade the polish. On another note, I've been obsessed with watching reactors of this woman for the past year or so. I've known about her and have watched her way back in the past too but there's something so morbidly fascinating about what she's doing. As someone who used to be addicted to junkfood (and has since curbed the addiction and lost about 50lbs) it's weirdly motivating to keep losing weight. Sad to say. Though she will never change, she has no hobbies, her marriage is fake, she's probably only in kuwait cus she can no longer keep up with Canadian bills and payments. There's nothing to her life but food, so the moment she tries to address this, and essentially takes out the only factor of her life she finds worth living for, it really just isn't worth it, at least in her mind. As someone in a loving relationship, a good career and many (too many) hobbies, I really couldn't relate. Maybe that's why it was easier for me to break the addiction with so many distractions. I still do revert to old habits everynow and again and it's something I have to work on everyday, but it's MUCH easier these days and sometimes I just don't think about it anymore

i’m not exaggerating when i say she has done this 216 times over the course of her channel. if you don’t enable her, she deems you a hater and blocks you. her chat sends her money to buy more fast food-and not just the feeders, either. this is why we know she isn’t serious about getting healthy. she is doomed.
