Obey as People Who Are Free: 1 Peter

Praise God for teaching us how to live peacefully among each other! I therefore bind one to desire honor all while binding to hell every desire to dishonor anyone in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents, the children I teach and the body of Christ, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone lacking to desire to honor all while desiring to dishonor anyone, in accordance with this word and 1 peter 2:13-17, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!

The image and inscription on the coin is Caesar and therefore the tax belongs to Caesar. The image and inscription on people is God, for we were created in his image and likeness. Therefore our entire life belongs to him, what we think, what we say and what we do. That is a tall order that only God's grace and power can bring about in a life.

Submission or subjection does not mean obedience. What Peter is talking about if we disobey them especially if they tell us to do wrong we should submit to them by accepting what consequences they put us on. We should give honor as we do that. Peter is pretty saying don’t rebel against them don’t get angry at them but try honor them and show patience.
