Thanks. My first experience I remember is going to see Empire Strikes Back in the theater with my dad. I remember being so excited and it was just the two of us. I was only two when New Hope came out, so I don’t remember seeing that in theater. I loved Empire, but when I was 8 and Jedi came out… it was my everything. Coloring Books, play sets, action figures. It was my all. I was never a Barbie girl. I was a Star Wars girl. I had the cassettes that had the movies cut down for the little books. We listened every night. My sister and I. Love it so much!

I'm with you on the "What was Obi-Wan doing for like 20 years?" I foresee Obi Wan drawing attention away from Luke as his sworn protector. He knows how important Luke is. I think it's going to be a good series, the Emperor has foreseen it!

I’ve watched a bunch of these reactions to this trailer some by big channel KZbinrs who clearly were mild fans or flat out had no idea who curtain characters were. Yours is by far is my favorite! I was just as emotional watching this trailer as you were. Dual of the fates guts me every time I rewatch the trailer. I also completely agree with you that representation maters! Keep it up!!

XD it does feel like a 1, 2 , 3 punch to the face between the intro ''we lost'' , seeing young Luke and then Duel of Fates uppercut but its not over because you get hit with Battle of Heroes , all the cool lore characters , the awesome looking Inquisitor woman and by that time you are in the floor begging for your life waiting for the coach to throw the towel but just as he picks it up to throw it and you are finally relieved the opponent spits at you with Vader breathing and then throw you a kiss with the Lightsaber Disney bonus.

Obi-Wan just doesn't watching Luke like a weirdo, he goes off-world in this, I think. At least a lot of it's events happen off Tatooine. I agree love the representation in Star Wars and even Marvel. It's a great time for diversity.

This cry was pretty phony. We have the Prequels and a New Hope which tells up the Obi-Wan story. What’s this series gonna do? Retell us old information? Give us A fight between Vader and Obi-Wan that already happened? It's like who cares about a well written story, we have the title Star Wars so it's automatically good.

I assure you, no cries of mine are phony. Since I was a child, I have wondered what Obi-wan did on Tatooine until he “met” Luke. This series is going to explore that exact time. We have the prequels which tell us the story of young Obi-Wan. Clone wars tells us the story of general Kenobi and new hope shows us Master Obi-Wan. This is the story of Ben Kenobi. Oh by the way, you don’t have to watch it. The rest of us can be happy over here while you can be off doing other things. 😊
