One of the biggest problems of the prequels was they didn't develop the relationship between Obi-Wan and Anakin almost at all. They spent almost the entire second movie apart and, when they were together, Anakin just back talked and disobeyed Obi-Wan. This made the "emotional"/betrayal parts fall flat. The best part of the Clone Wars show was showing that relationship that the movies ignored

there was no war happening at that time, so other than the training, would make for a very boring show. it would consist of jedi knights going to systems to negotiate peace , and maybe the occosional run into battle droids, but other than that it would be boring as there is no war happening. every star wars film and series has some form of war be it clone, or civil.

I would love that to happen, too! I was just thinking to myself just how much happens in the 10 years between "The Phantom Menace" and "A New Hope". I think that it should however, not only focus on Anakin and Obi-Wan training, going on missions and etc - but also on Palpatine continuing his Grand Plan, his first steps into orchestrating the Clone Wars, his search for a new apprentice (Dooku), his manipulation of Anakin - all that. Additionally, I think that Count Dooku should feature prominently as the tragic character that he is. Him slowly turning away from the Jedi Order as he hears news of the death of his former apprentice Qui Gon and at the same time Palpatine approaching him with the guile of friendship only to just manipulate him into becoming a Sith. And that is just some of the many things they can do and show: think of Syfo Dias and how he commissioned the Clone Army, only to be killed by Palpatine and Dooku, and later impersonated. Think of the growing dispute in the Galaxy, the corrupted yoke of the Republic's grip driving many systems to eventually join the Separatists. Overall, I think that such a production would be best used as a animated tv series (like Clone Wars and Rebels), due to the complex and long nature of the events for one (you just cannot show all this in one movie) and also the fact that a legend in our Universe - sir Christopher Lee is sadly not with us anymore, and anyone else playing Count Dooku on screen will just no sit well with me. But they can all be animated characters!
