For those who don't know; This isn't a meme. When the Star Wars movies started airing on Chilean TV for the first time in the early 200s, they didn't want to break up the movie with obnoxious ad breaks, so instead the Cervesza Cristal company got around the requirement of ad breaks by instead creating these edits as tiny extra additions to scenes and slapping them into the movie in places that looked fitting enough for it.

after the force is with cristal beer campaign in 2003 the CCU(the owner of the cerveza cristal brand) started including ads in other movies such as american beauty, gladiator and notting hill in 2004 until lucasfilm found out about the original campaign and notified conar, the local advertising regulator about the copyright infringement and advertising code violations, because the advertising was not distinct enough from the content this type of ad was banned on december 15th 2004
