I swear that Obi Wan goes through legit all of the shit and gets like no credit. First, he almost doesn't get chosen to be trained before being grudgingly took on by Qui-Gon Have Qui Gon go 'nah, I'll train Anakin' while STILL his padawan Have Qui Gon die in his arms Maybe not even get a proper knighting ceremony Has to then train Anakin basically the minute after his master dies because Qui Gon's last words were of Anakin and not him as his padawan. Is made General in a war he doesn't want to fight Gets lied to by Anakin about Padme Gets Satine die in his arms Has to face Anakin after he turned to the Dark side, Order 66 Has to then watch Padme die Has to then separate her two kids Has to then watch over his ex padawan's son Then dies at the hands of his padawan Then has the kid named after him turn to the Dark Side and be hated on by Luke Like what the fuck Obi Wan needs more appreciation

Standards may vary but remember Yoda and Obi Wan both failed as teachers. Dooku and Anakin became sith. Anakin did not fail as a teacher. Ahsoka never became a Jedi technically but she was a bigger force for good in the universe than many of them. He was an excellent teacher. If he hadn't taught Ahsoka to be independent she would have perished in Order 66.

Man.. Everytime when i see Anakin VS Obi Wan, it saddens me. While they are fighting, Obi Wan mostly holds back until the moment that he realises he must kill Anakin for what he become. That there is no going back He starts to regret while he is fighting against Anakin. He thinks what did i do wrong? Where i failed? I should have trained him better. He was the chosen one. The disapointment comes right after. The things Anakin said. The deeds he was willing to do. He was corrupted. The moment he tells Skywalker ''You were the chosen one! You were suppose to bring balance to force not leave it in the darkness!'', You can literally see the pain, remorse and sadness in his eyes. Wishing everything could be different. Everything SHOULD be diffrent. But its too late now, to Undo neither of their deeds. Star Wars can be funny and even stupid time to time. But when it comes to characters, Its one of the best out there. They give LIFE to their characters. As readers/audience we can see them develop, regret, hate, love, bound, enjoy. We can see them as THEM instead of just another character. Even Graves has a great character development. Awesome work to writers, And awesome work to you, King. One hell of a piece this is. Thanks.

i dont think he was holding back at all.. its true that during their battle on mustafar u could sense the sadness and anger..Anakin's aggression and rage fuelling his fighting style. Obi wan needed to be defensive to tire anakin out and eventually use that rage to overcome his oponent.

The wonderful tale apart..it was not just the characters of the Star Wars collected universe that I enjoyed..but has been all the incredible soul touching and heart caressing beautiful music that flows with the saga..Of This Almost Real but mythically inspired story of many different places and thousands of different magical worlds and a rainbow spectrum myriad of wonderous sentient Beings..even of the mechanical androidal anthromorphic players..all are woven so completely exquisitely perfect together with the music that you can almost see everything and feel the tangibilty of it all..the first time I saw the very first film I was enthralled an immersed in all, and the soundtrack spoke sweet whispers to this young child as no other had and it filled him with dreamscapes and amazingly coloured imaginings..it was not just the action..it was the weave of the whole that inspired his dreams to this very day..this..I think..is what a well told story does for tbe witness..it makes us all dream..and dream dreams in breathtaking colours😏..💜💘💙..
