Better than ever, they did a set at tsunami fest, last band on day three, I was sleeping on my feet (working) after some 45 bands in three waves of constant succession even the Hardcore Hardcore guys couldn't resist getting out one last time, although exhaustion made it less than earth shattering, they just sounded so clean and I want to say "crisp?" "Tight?" fuckin "Killer!!!" lol

Obituary are one of the all time greats. They still sound brutal as ever while many of their peers are way past their best. They never disappoint live. I saw them here in the UK touring with Carcass and Napalm Death - both of whom were also brilliant. I've seen Napalm probably 5-6 times over the years and they're also consistently great. Obituary I've seen 3-4 times, and they have such a unique sound and intensity. Of the 'newer' bands I've heard, I really like what Skeletal Remains are doing.
